Celebrating St. Patty’s Day Around the World

Although St. Patty’s Day may be an Irish tradition, countries all over the world celebrate this day. The first St. Patty’s Day parade was in Boston in 1737. And although New York City is known for its St. Patty’s Day festivities, Chicago famously dyes the main river running through the city bright green. There’s no shortage of St. Patty’s Day celebrations, from Dublin to Croatia and every country in between.
